”Meet “Muffy”! Muffy is a pretty little 12 month old shorthair cat. She is very calm and laid back and likes to quietly observe her surroundings. If you’re interested in adding a calm, laid back cat to your family, please consider Muffy! Her adoption fee is $75.Kittens are very social by nature, so if there is no other cat in the home, our kittens (under one year of age) are adopted in pairs.”

Lovey

Age: 6 Years Old / Breed: Pomeranian Chihuahua Mix / Sex: Female / Rescue: Louie’s Legacy
”HI…I’m Lovey the Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix. I’m 6 years old, spayed, and weigh only 7 lbs. I am potty-trained and crate-trained, but foster mom doesn’t crate me since I am such a good girl. For the most part, I am laid back and low energy, occasionally I’ll decide to play with a toy. If I’m not following Foster Mom around the house, I enjoy curling up next to her on the couch or snoozing in a fuzzy cuddler bed. Sometimes I sneak into my human foster brother’s bed and cuddle with him. I do prefer being the center of attention but will co-exist with the other small dogs in my foster home, if need be. I am comfortable with men and bigger kids. I am a big love and I’m waiting for the perfect furever family to adopt me! Pick me, Love me! My adoption fee is $400.”

Maple

Age: 2.5 Months Old / Breed: Domestic Short Hair / Sex: Female / Rescue: Louie’s Legacy
”The little babes have been fostered with other adult cats and quickly made friends. They have not been around other dogs since they were 6 weeks old. These energetic kittens are full of life and energy. Their favorite way to spend the day is greeting you with tiny meows, running around and playing like crazy with their siblings and toys, then cuddling on your lap for a nap and repeating it all over again until bedtime. They are curious, sweet, brave and sure to bring joy and love to homes of all ages! The adoption fee for one kitten is $75, or you can adopt two for $110.”

”Denali is a 4 year old boxer mix weighing about 70 pounds. He loves people and other dogs. He loves playing and uses his arms in the typical boxer style. He is curious about cats but has had limited interaction. He is crate trained and house trained. He is high energy and enjoys long walks. He does well on a leash but he is strong. Bo Peep

Age: 1.5 Years Old / Breed: Labradoodle / Sex: Female / Rescue: Louie’s Legacy
”Meet the cutest lamb, Bo Peep! At 1.5 years old, Peep weighs in at 50 pounds. Peep loves the company of other dogs and enjoys accompanying her foster mom to doggy daycare. Due to being blind, Bo Peep prefers to eat alone. She was born blind and adjusts to new environments fairly quickly, but is looking for a forever home that will be patient with her and teach her some manners. She is working on keeping four paws on the floor, so a home with older children would be best, as she may accidentally knock over a small child. She knows how to sit and goes up and down steps without any problems. Peep is both house and crate trained, but does tend to howl periodically in her crate. Peep is not suitable for an apartment and would do best with a fenced in yard. She doesn't have the best leash manners but has lots of room for improvement! Peep is a super sweet girl who cannot wait to find a forever home to help her flourish! She was recently shaved down due to matted fur, but will be a fluffy lamb again in no time! My adoption fee is $250”

He is a very reserved cat that really takes the time to observe his surroundings before he decides to do anything. Gary is a deep thinker and appreciates his space. He'll let you know when he's ready to share his thoughts. Gary's adoption fee is $75.Kittens are very social by nature, so if there is no other cat in the home, our kittens (under one year of age) are adopted in pairs.”

Chachi

Age: 3 Years Old / Breed: Chihuahua / Sex: Male / Rescue: Louie’s Legacy
”Three year old Chachi is the sweetest, most loving little dude you will ever meet. Weighing in at a tiny ten pounds, he loves to snuggle and give soft kisses. He has never shown any signs of aggression toward humans/children or other dogs, but is very shy when meeting new people. Since he is a little shy, he would probably not enjoy a loud or busy household. He likes to follow you everywhere you go, and will sit right next to you while you’re reading or watching a movie. While he is calm most of the time, he does enjoy doing zoomies around the yard when you get him super excited. Chachi is definitely not a yappy dog, we’ve only heard him bark a tiny bark a couple of times. He plays gently with our other dog who is medium sized, and also gentle. Chachi's adoption fee is $400.”

Sir Francis Bacon

Age: 3 Years Old / Breed: Feist / Sex: Male / Rescue: Louie’s Legacy
”Meet Sir Francis Bacon, but you can call him Bacon! Bacon is an approximately 3 year old, 23 pound Mountain Feist who came from a situation in which he lived on a chain outside, with many negative interactions with humans. Despite this rough start to life, Bacon has the absolute sweetest personality. He cannot get enough attention from his foster mom! He also loves meeting new people when he goes out on walks through the neighborhood-as long as people approach him slowly. Poor Bacon has been mistreated throughout his life so he just needs to know that you are one of the good guys, then you have a friend for life! Bacon's neighbors love to see him coming and often call out "Bacon!" as he struts by on the sidewalk! Sir Francis Bacon loves to cruise the neighborhood but he is scared of fast moving cars so he prefers to stay on the quiet neighborhood streets for his evening strolls. He does well on a leash, unless he spots a squirrel-then he is all business so hold on tight! He is confined to a small room when unattended and may whine for a few minutes at first but is mostly quiet during confinement. Due to his rough start in life, he does have mild to moderate anxiety but seems to be adjusting to home life well and remarkably fast! This anxiety generally manifests as a quiet whining which he may do while being pet or when he wants attention but is not getting it. After just a few weeks in foster care, this anxiety seems to be lessening. Bacon is working hard on his potty training but is still in the process of learning. He, like many males who were outdoor dogs, was marking his territory inside when he first arrived in foster. He still is doing this on occasion but has decreased this activity by 80 to 90% already! Bacon is living with two foster dogs, 25 and 50 pounds. He does well with them both but has been mildly territorial when competing for attention-this has been easily corrected with a stern "no". Bacon also has a foster cat sister and the two pay minimal attention to each other. Bacon is ready and deserving of the best life and he hopes that involves you! Sir Francis Bacon's adoption fee is $400.”

Athena

Age: 7 Years Old / Breed: Akita / Sex: Female / Rescue: SPCA
”Hello! My name is Athena - a beautiful name for a beautiful gal! I am an Akita - a breed that is known to be fearless and loyal guardians to their family. Also, to be affectionate, respectful, and amusing dogs when properly trained and socialized. That said, dogs of this breed are faithful companions that will be attached to the right owner for life and shower them with adoration and love! Given my tendency to be protective, it would be best if I were the only pet in the family. When we spend some time together you will notice that I have an abundance of energy - I bounce around like a puppy! I hope you like to be active because I enjoy being adventurous and playful! When we go for walks I tend to be very enthusiastic and can pull on the leash so I will need some training in this area to learn to slow down. It won't take long for you to see that I am a gentle soul. Hanging out and getting loved on is something I can't get enough of! I also love to be brushed - which is a good thing considering that I do have a lot of hair and I shed! So come and spend some time with me and see for yourself how sweet-tempered I am and how I could be the perfect companion you have been looking for!I DO NOT like my legs to be petted. NO KIDS.”

Eliza

Age: 2 Years Old / Breed: Mixed Breed / Sex: Female / Rescue: SPCA
”Eliza is a sweet gentle soul who would love a quiet home to relax and work on socialization in. She gets over stimulated very easily so a quiet home with no small children would be best. Once she learns who her friends are she will be stuck to them like glue. If you have other dogs she would prefer an older fur sibling who won't stress her out and help her to relax. Once she's comfortable her personality shines like the sun!”

Bolt

Age: 3 Months Old / Breed: Terrier / Sex: Male / Rescue: SAAP
”Bolt is a giant -- at almost 30 pounds around 3-months-old. The verdict is out on what is bigger: his personality or his ears? This silly boy has lots of love to share and doesn't hesitate to show off how smart he is. He is learning to be crated and will need a patient human to teach him the potty-training ropes. He would make a great companion to another doggo who likes to play and he has lots of energy to burn off with kid friends. He is about as sweet as they come!”
