Directions

1. To make theGarlic Butter Turkey with Cauliflower: Heat a large skillet over medium-low with one tablespoon of vegetable oil. Saute the pre-cooked cauliflower florets in the skillet, under slightly golden brown – make sure not to burn cauliflower. Deglaze with lemon juice, add some fresh cilantro, salt, and pepper to your taste, and toss to coat well. Remove to a shallow plate.

2. In the same skillet (rinse the skillet if cauliflower has burnt), melt butter with one tablespoon oil and cook ground turkey, breaking the meat apart with a wooden spoon. When the turkey meat is no longer pink, add garlic, the onion powder and give a quick stir. Add soy sauce, water, and hot sauce and continue cooking, stirring regularly, for a couple of minutes.

3. Push ground turkey aside and return the cauliflower to the skillet. Reheat quickly and coat cauliflower in the sauce. Add a drizzle of sesame oil, sprinkle with fresh chopped cilantro, and red chili pepper flakes, and garnish with lemon slices. Serve the Garlic Butter Turkey with Cauliflowerimmediately – enjoy!

Notes:

  • To cook cauliflower quicker: Throw the cauliflower florets in a bowl and add 1/4 cup (60ml) water, cover, and microwave for 4 minutes before sauteing.
  • If you want more sauce: remove the cooked ground turkey from the pan and add butter, garlic, and onion powder. Deglaze with soy sauce and hot sauce, and add a few drops of water if necessary – You can use the same quantities as the ingredients list. Transfer to a small bowl and serve along with cooked ground turkey and cauliflower.
  • Make sure to use low-sodium soy sauce and don’t add salt to the recipe. The dish is already salty enough!

This is my second time making it for my family. I make it exactly as the recipe says but I don’t make the extra sauce. It’s incredibly delicious! It’s part of my recipe collection for meals I will make over again. .

Made this tonight for the first time, our whole family loved it! Used Gochujang instead of Sriracha, will definitely make again.

This was surprisingly tasty. Not sure you need all 3 tablespoons of butter.

Definitely use the low sodium soy sauce. The first time I made it, it was a tad too salty. Second time I made it we subbed thin cut sirloin pieces instead of ground turkey and added about half the water (since steak cooks juicier) and it was pretty tasty! Love how easy and quick it is! Thanks for the recipe!

Loved this! Seriously this was delicious as is. Next time I will add mushroom as I love them. Thanks for a fantastic recipe!

This was delicious! My husband and I are doing keto, while the kids ate this over a bit of rice. Everyone loved it, except we wished there was much more cauliflower. Changes I made: No spicy stuff at all, lime instead of lemon, freshly graded ginger added to the meat, dried parsley instead of cilantro. YUM! Will make again with double the cauliflower.

This is perfect for a South Beach diet fan. I used olive oil and did give in and use the butter. It is such a quick and tasty dish. My husband and I ate the whole thing in one sitting!

Love! I have made this meal many times. But one night I did not have soy sauce😬. Any suggestions on something else to use?

This was very good. I served it over spaghetti squash with grated parmesan over the top.

Super easy to make and the flavour was yum. I used chicken mince and used fresh parsley as I didn’t have any fresh cilantro and will definitely make this again.

It was a nice light, quick meal. I think next time I would add ginger, and use lime instead of lemon. Maybe green onion & sesame seeds would work well too.

This was only my second time making something with ground turkey and I am addicted! Now I make it whenever I have a few nights to work in a row because it's so easy to reheat. Only thing I changed is I used cauliflower rice and made it into a rice bowl. It's amazing! Thanks for this recipe.

This was very good. Cut back on the onion powder, though. Recipe kept locking up when I removed images.

We eat a lot of ground turkey (low carbers) and it's not easy to get solid flavor out of it, but this recipe proved a tasty success. Used what I had-- Normandy blend frozen veggies with extra lemon juice. Healthy and no leftovers...

This was really good but I made several modifications. I used only 1 tbsp of vegetable oil, butter and garlic. I used only 1 tsp of the onion powder, Siracha and sesame oil. I omitted the pepper flakes. I microwaved the cauliflower prior cooking as suggested and added snow peas to get some extra veggies. It was just the right amount of spiciness for my husband and I but we like mild so it was perfect. Will definitely make again.

I didn’t love this. Too much butter. It certainly is missing something to compete it as a meal. Will not be making this again.

This was delicious. I wish the instructions were a little more clear tho. It said to add precooked cauliflower in the pan but the recipe ingredients did not call for "precooked" cauliflower. Despite the weird wording, I will make this again.

Very delicious , I used coconut aminos instead of soy sauce , this will be good as lettuce wraps .
