I don't have a problem with coffee table books in general -- its the popular designer ones in particular I think are tacky because at this point EVERYONE has them. And more often then not they just plop it down on a table, put a candle on it and call it "decor" smh
I saw a YouTube video awhile back of a woman wrapping contact paper around cheap large books to give it the same look as designer coffee table books.

The real kick is that often they don’t even come with a hookup for a dryer and you end up having to get a drying rack or going to the laundromat.

Girl lol buy what the fµck you like. You have to live in that space so make it your own. You can buy clear vases and spray paint them instead of looking for colored vases for the pampas grass. There’s some YouTube tutorials out there.

Ma'am, I am here to defend those gigantic utensils! I remember them so well from my childhood and now that I am old as hell, I like having such ironically memorable crap in my house and am going to get them.
As a mom, i had a wooden set of them which me and my kids had so much fun chasing each other thru the house and neighborhood with. Watching 2 people fight with a giant wooden spoon and fork can be quite funny.
So I am in the market for a new set. Don't throw your giant utensils out, send them to me!
Our house is from the 40s so we want a classic vintage look. I absolutely love this kitchen! Minus the rooster and chicken stuff,lol.

I hate to be an asshole cuz this lady seems like such a sweetheart but all the decor she DIY's is horrendous. So much mirrors, bling, glitter and rhinestones. OMG! Everyone in the comments complimenting her, their interior must be tacky as death.
Keep me away with any of that blingy stuff, tons of mirrors, rhinestones, all-white rooms, rooms with nothing but silver decor (yuck). cotton plants, the fluffy feather looking things the OP posted, (all of the stuff OP posted btw), barnhouse style decor, The exposed pipes someone was mentioning/those warehouse looking apartments.
I hate tufted headboards as well. and they're a huge rusk for bed-bugs, depending on whatever warehouse/retailer sells them. People buying them wonder why they end up with bed-bugs. Those things love all the crevices they can hide in. Yuck!

The dreaded boob light. I am in total agreement with you here. When I rented I found ways to conceal and cover or replace them. I despise them with every fiber in my being.
