She was born February 14, 1915 in Appleton, the daughter of Thomas and Anna Flanagan. She graduated from Rosary College, River Forest, Illinois, in 1937. She married Walter Millhouse in 1954 and was a resident of Appleton most of her life. She is a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, and was employed as a secretary at Butte des Morts Country Club.

Survivors include her son, John, and his fiancee, Sharon Hanson, Apple-ton; two brothers: Thomas J. Flanagan, Appleton; Dr. Francis Flanagan, Dublin, Georgia; 17 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter, July 17, 1956; her parents; and a sister, Mrs. Franklin (Mary) Schneider, March 8, 1980.
